RInging in 2009!

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. Santa was very good to Trey. Toys are everywhere. I learned a lot in the past year. I have seen one huge miracle (Kate, I love you and am so very happy you got such wonderful news) and many small ones that at the time I am sure I overlooked. God works wonders. Family is everything with all the good and the bad and the drama. Family is very important and you should take time out to appreciate each and every member. True friends become your family. It doesnt matter what you do or how you feel or even if you disagree with everything they do or say; they know exactly what you need and when you need it. They listen, hold you when your sad and wipe the tears away, and try to find that one thing that will cheer you up. God knows what he's doing that is for sure! People come and go but real friends are their for a lifetime. I have learned what it is like to live with a teenager, wow! I still haven't found what I am looking for in my love life but I am waiting to see what God has in store. Trey has grown up so much this past year. He's learning, playing sports, and is quit the trickster. He got into his fair share of trouble. He had a couple of trips to Ms. Marlene's office. OH, and we can't forget that he cut up the couch! He is my precious angel and the thing that I am most proud of. I been going back to school and it been stressful but I know it will be worth it in the long run.

So I have had many blessings and lessons in the past year. I can't wait to see what 2009 has in store.

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I posted. I started working and I think I have had every bug that my kids have had. School is going well. Trey is loving preschool. Mrs. Susan is awesome with him. He just doesn't like the work part. He is doing T.O.T. on Mondays. It is a basketball program at daycare. He seems to like that. I saw Jen's flashback Friday and thought I would post one of my favorite of Trey that I had on this computer. No this pic was not staged. Jen I miss you! We will have to get together soon. My PEP friends I will see you in October if not before. Kelly you would be proud I have been trying to work on my scrapbook stuff. Destiny how do you find all these cool places to go? I will try to do better on keeping the posts up! Take Care everyone!

Having Fun in the Summer Sun!

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! Trey got his medal Saturday after his wee-ball game. He was so proud! We played on his water mat the other day and he wouldn't get on it so he threw his balls on it and was catching them with his fishing net. I guess there is more than one way to fish! Sorry Dad! We also went to Ben's birthday party. Michelle B. you are definitely a great party thrower. Trey had so much fun on the big water slide and was so brave and fearless.

Summer Fun

Well, it is official I made it through another school year! I am so excited to be off for the summer. Trey and I have already been playing. We also have been sleeping in. That has been nice. We went to the carnival on Saturday. We had a great time. Trey rode the scrambler for the first time. He laughed the whole time. He is not scared of anything. He wanted to ride the ferris wheel and the other big ride. He loved the petting zoo. We saw goats, bulls, different kinds of cattle and a kangaroo. We also saw pig races. The green one won. Trey was so excited because his favorite color one.

I'm so far behind!!!

Hey everyone! I am so far behind I don't even know where to start! MY baby boy is four! We had his party at party central and it was great. His uncle, the super sweet guy that he is, paid for the whole thing! What a great surprise for me!

I have been taking a class and took my mid term and made a 100. It made me feel really good and proud! WAY TO GO ME!!

Trey is playing wee-ball. It is the cutest thing ever! I love being the baseball mom. I think that that is where you are supposed to be in the summer. I lived in Ferriday when I was little and even if you didn't play you were there. It is great! Trey doesnt really like playing against his friends from school but he is doing pretty good with the concept of playing. GO METS!!

My favorite neighbors were on TV! Todd (the hubby and dad) is serving our country in Iraq. He got to come home for leave. They are all so happy and I am very happy for them!! I am also very thankful for what he and his family sacrafice for all the rest of us. His wife and children have became my extended family and I am very thankful for all of them. Even though Trey gives all my smooches to Ms. Theresa!! They had a BBQ to celebrate his return and we had a blast!
