WOW! What a Week!

Trey and I have had quite the busy week!

Monday
We went to a skating birthday party. We had so much fun. Trey did such a great job for his first real time skating. He and friends were so cute! They were telling each other that it's ok to fall down...you just have to get up and try again. We also played some duck game that Trey loved. He really liked the pizza and cake too. We had got happy meals on the way.

Tuesday
Trey got to stay at Mimi's because she was on vacation. I had PTA meeting. My class presented Jungle Party Tonight. They did such a great job. One of my students told me they were famous now because everyone was talking about them. Just a coincident one of our spelling words this week was fame. I am very glad it is over because I have been hearing the songs in my head. I don't think I will ever use the saying "you got ants in your pants" again.

Wednesday
Trey was very excited to show Papaw where his room was at school. We had cubbies and Trey earned another patch. He is doing such a great job learning his Bible verses. I am so proud.

Thursday
I had to get and oil change. I was really concerned because my service engine soon light had come on. My friend, Robert, works on my car when I take it in. The service advisors at Red River know me as Robert's other wife. His wife is one of my best friends and works there too. She plays along. Luckily, as Robert put it...it was a typical female mistake a code went off because my gas tank lid wasn't tight! Thank Goodness! That doesn't cost anything to fix!!! Trey helped my neighbor fix us chicken and dumplings. I have the best neighbor! It allowed me to get a lot of school stuff done.

Friday
Church Skate Night. We took our neighbor Brooke with us. We didn't have as much fun. Trey was in a mood but he did like to watch me skate. Yes, I can still skate. We enjoyed our icees and visiting with our friends. Our week is still not over we have more birthday parties to go to tomorrow.
